Some fantastic play from a previous Final between Reg Bamford and Ahmed Nasr

The Croquet Association (of England) is delighted to host the WCF Simon Carter Golf Croquet World Championship 2019 at the Sussex County (at Southwick, West Sussex), Compton (Eastbourne), Royal Tunbridge Wells and West Worthing Croquet Clubs, from Saturday 27th July to Sunday 4th August on behalf of the World Croquet Federation (WCF).

Welcome to the 13th Golf Croquet World Championship, and a return to England after eight years. On behalf of the WCF, I’d like to thank all those involved from the CA and all four venues for their work preparing for and hosting this event, and to the sponsors for their generosity. And finally, best of luck to all players!

Welcome to the South Coast of England for a return visit of the Golf Croquet World Championship after 15 years.
As the Championship now includes more players we've had to expand the number of playing locations, so you'll be able to explore more of our lovely countryside!
I'm sure everyone at all our locations will make you very welcome and that you'll enjoy your time in England.
Jonathan Isaacs, Chairman, Organising Committee

The Championship is a singles event with three consolation events, details of which can be seen on the Schedule page. Reg Bamford from South Africa is the defending champion (pictured above) - other Previous Winners can be seen on this page.

The overall Entry Procedure can be seen here.

A qualifying tournament is available for those who do not receive WCF Membership, Ranking or Wild Card places. This is being held at the Guildford & Godalming Croquet Club, England on Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th July. More details are available here.

Spectators and Visitors

Spectators are very welcome at all locations, on the purchase of a Championship Programme (£5).

At Sussex County & Compton there will be plenty of space so visitors are encouraged to come as small groups or even as coach parties. Parking provision will be made at both venues for cars, mini buses and coaches.

At Royal Tunbridge Wells and West Worthing due to space limitations we may have to restrict the number of spectators.

Those planning to visit are encouraged to bring their own seating, except for Tunbridge Wells. Catering will be available at all locations, but will be limited at some. Fuller details are on the specific Venue pages.
